Hotel Lozenetz breakfast was typical of the other east European hotels we have stayed at - a range of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, etc - but American guests at the hotel seemed disappointed by the lack of choice. We didn't use the restaurant in the evenings but reviews in local newspapers were favourable. Lozenetz is a quiet residential area of Sofia but only a ten minute walk to the city centre. We felt safe at all times - even the nearby subways have security guards who eject troublemakers and drunkards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Lozenetz Hotel and would recommend to anyone wanting modern accommodation at good rates. The hotel is suitable both for business and private travellers but anyone with young children or infants should check the facilities available.
