Pliska is not only name of hotel but it is also a place in capital with its own urban climate. The building of the hotel with its blue window-glasses is a badge. You just can not miss it as you are traveling on the Tsarigradsko chausee Blvd. (which is a continuation of the Trakia highway and an entrance to the centre of Sofia). The bus-stop is right next to the hotel to connect the hotel with the Sofia Airport (buses N:84 and N:284), the railway station and the bus station.
The Hotel Pliska is part of the city like the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Palace of Culture, the History Museum etc. The Pliska, as the people form Sofia call it, is situated 10min. away from airport Sofia, Business Park Sofia, the centre of the city and the Expo Centre, and 20 minutes away from the main Railway and Bus Station which connects the capital with the country. |

The Hotel Pliska aims to be found:people cannot miss it from the airport. Simply take bus no:84 and in no time it will drop people right in front of the hotel. To get to the City Center, take any of these four buses: 280, 84, 76, or 306.

Relax&fun
I stayed about one week. Closeness to the city centre and the beach is perfect. The area is full of action. I lvoed lying on the clear sandy beach. Also there are so many bars, pubs and shops around the hotel. Staff is hardworking and most friendly. Rooms are basic but enough. Very lovely restaurant at the hotel and delicious meals offered. You certainly got what you paid. Im planning to go back next summer :-) |
